The healthy fast food restaurant chain, Mixgreens, plan on going pink throughout the month of October, it seems for this month ‘Pink is the new Green’

Mixgreens have been come up with a novel way to recognise Breast Cancer Awareness Month by going pink with their menu and raising funds for the NBCRI
(National Breast Cancer Research Institute). The entire month of October will be dedicated to this cause, where funds will be directed back to breast cancer awareness and research.

The National Breast Cancer Research Institute work to raise awareness of breast cancer and fundraise to provide improved breast cancer services for women throughout Ireland.

Pink dishes will be served at the Mixgreens restaurants, they will be low in fat and an overall a healthy choice meal. The special “pink” dishes will see Mixgreens donate €2 from every pink menu item sold to the NBCRI.
