Galway native, Wayne Walsh was crowned the 2018 Mr Ireland in Dublin’s Helix theatre in front of a packed house last year, since then he has gone on to be featured in a music video that reached number 1 in the iTunes chart and has huge projects in the pipeline as he juggles is modelling career with acting and singing work.
Wayne only began modelling four years ago when he was spotted by Mandy Maher of the Catwalk Modelling Agency at a fashion event.
His win marks the second year running that a Catwalk Agency model has taken home the Mr Ireland title, with Wayne succeeding last year’s winner, Roscommon man Darren King.
