The 45th Clifden Arts Festival 2022 – September 15-25, 2022
Ómós. Homage. Something paid out of appreciation.
Ireland’s longest-running community arts festival doffs its cap to the cultural riches that keep us all going through difficult times. Back to full capacity in venues across the region, Clifden Arts Festival returns for a 45th instalment, bringing with it the community-led spirit and diversity of inspiration that President Michael D Higgins hailed as a “unique and outstanding experience.”
As always, the great and the good have answered the call of long-time festival pillar Brendan Flynn, the former schoolmaster who dreamed up this annual celebration of art, music and illumination.
Launch of highlights July 18th 2022.
“A unique and outstanding experience… a ‘meitheal’ between artists and audience forged on a profound respect for community and belonging”
President Michael D Higgins
