The exquisite Gothic Church at Kylemore Abbey will play host to one of Ireland’s finest singer/songwriters Luka Bloom.

There will be an exhibition by acclaimed photographer Tina Claffey, who’s book has been greatly praised and gives a real insight into the beauty of Irish peat lands.  The talk will be followed by an exhibition of Tina’s work aptly titled ‘Tapestry of Light’.

Informative guided walks of Omey Island with archaeologists and ecologists will also take place over the week and guests are invited to experience life in the Bronze Age where there will be a re-enactment of cooking using a Fulacht Fiadh ( hole in the ground).

As the sun sets, the rafters in the Gothic Church will ring once more with the amazing sounds of El Safty, Armstrong and Browne, featuring Siobhan Armstrong on harp, Ronan Browne pipes/flute/whistle and great sean nós singer Roisin El Safty, this promises to be a most memorable night in the company of this internationally acclaimed trio.
